Cars are allowed to go to Spain but there is and additional insurance (Green Card for Spain) to be purchased. This additional insurance activates the travel assistence outside Portugal. In case of accident or breakdown you  contact our 24 h number and in the green card you also have a 24 h assistance number . They will take care of you.
